Bach Hours
A rare chance to hear Bach’s uplifting Orgelbüchlein (Little Organ Book) complete, plus a dozen modern contributions to the Orgelbüchlein Project – the project aiming to fill the 118 blank pages in Bach’s collection. Each piece is a miniature gem, capturing in a mere moment a world of image, symbolism and emotion.
Legendary tenor John Mark Ainsley joins organists Ernst Wally (Organist of the Stephansdom, Vienna), William Whitehead and Michael Harris, to sing this journey through from the darkness of Advent to the hope of eternal life. Come to one concert or all three (for more information see www.orgelbuechlein.com)
