Slave Britain: opening August 2007

In association with Amnesty International

As we commemorate 200 years since the abolition of the transatlantic slave trade in the UK,  the Slave Britain exhibition reveals how human trafficking remains a bitter reality for thousands of women, men and children in the country today.

Slave Britain artfully documents the ordinary lives and everyday locations caught up in trafficking and calls for an end to this illegal 21st century trade.

Visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to become a modern day abolitionist through calling on Scottish and UKpoliticians to take action to stem the trade and provide support to its victims.
