Up Close and Personal: started 21 May
The 'Up Close and Personal' exhibition was installed as part of the celebrations for the 2007 Six Cities Design Festival.
Curated by Edinburgh design consultancy, Tayburn Ltd., the exhibition presents a wonder-wall of the places that mean the most to residents and visitors.
Tayburn asked for submissions which could be in the form of words, a drawing, or a photograph to show something people loved about the city. The idea behind it was to encourage everyone to see and think about the beauty of Edinburgh and the effect design can have on all our lives.
The exhibition has proved to be diverse, surprising, informative and inspiring.
