Opening Times
St Giles' is open to visitors all year except 25th after 11.30am service and 26th December and 1st and 2nd January.
Our opening hours are:
Summer (May-September)
Monday - Friday 09.00-19.00
Saturday 09.00-17.00
Sunday 13.00-17.00 and for services
Winter (October-April)
Monday - Saturday 09.00-17.00
Sunday 13.00-17.00 and for services
Thistle Chapel Closure
From 10 October 2011 for a period of six weeks until 11 November 2011 we regret that the Thistle Chapel will be closed to be public, in order to allow for the installation of new lighting.
Please note that St Giles' is a working church and access may be restricted without notice.
A short worship service takes place from 1200-12.10 Monday-Saturday, during which we respectfully ask for silence from our visitors.
The Cathedral Shop is open Monday-Friday 10.00-18.30 (Winter 10.00-16.30), Saturday 10.00-16.30 and Sunday 12.30-16.30
