Born in Mexico, Ishtar Cynthia Valenzuela holds a Master’s Degree in Music Composition from the California Institute of Arts, playing classical harp as well as traditional World Music on Celtic and Latin American harps, voice, santur, laud, bouzouki, banjo and other string instruments. She has received several international awards, recorded many albums and has toured extensively, travelling around the world sending the message of love, harmony and beauty as a certified Leader of the Dances of Universal Peace. For many years, Ishtar has held women’s circles and retreats honouring the divine feminine.
