The Royal Mile International Piano Series - The Beethoven Sonatas

Following its acclaimed debut in 2024, the prestigious Edinburgh International Royal Mile Piano Series returns with a complete cycle of Beethoven’s 32 Piano Sonatas, performed across the 2025–26 season. Showcasing exceptional talent from leading UK and international pianists, each recital offers a unique perspective on some of the most profound and beloved works in the piano repertoire.

Misha Kaploukhii
is a graduate of the Moscow Gnessin College of Music, where he studied under Mikhail Egiazaryan. He has completed his undergraduate studies at the Royal College of Music and is now pursuing a Master of Performance under the guidance of Professors Ian Jones.  Current season highlights include performance of Brahms 2nd Concerto with Martyn Brabbins and concerts at the Cadogan Hall, LSO St Luke's and Sinfonia Smith Square. Misha's studies are supported by many awards. He is honoured to be one of the recipients of the LSO Conservatoire Scholarships 2024/26, Hattori Foundation Senior Award and is a Musicians' Company Lambert Scholar, supported by the Maureen and Harold Adams Scholarship.  His career is supported with the help of Keyboard Charitable Trust, the Razumovsky Trust, and the Robert Turnbull Piano Foundation.
