Scottish Hustings for Young People

Hosted by the John Smith Centre and the Scottish Youth Parliament

The John Smith Centre and the Scottish Youth Parliament are delighted to announce our plans to stage a special one-off election hustings for Scotland’s young people.

We’ve brought together six young candidates who are standing at the Holyrood elections. They will set out their views in front of an audience of 300 young people in the beautiful surroundings of St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh.

The panel will also reflect on the findings of this year’s John Smith Centre UK Youth Poll.

If you have any accessibility requirements, please email us at johnsmithcentre@glasgow.ac.uk with details no less than 48 hours before the event.

Please note that filming/photography will be taking place during this event for promotional and archival purposes. Images and recordings may be used on our website or in other promotional materials. If you would prefer not to be photographed, please inform a member of staff.
