London Concertante returns to the stunning St Giles Cathedral this October with a wonderful programme of music celebrating the magnificent Violin Concertos of Bach, alongside music by Albinoni and Mozart. With rising star and fiddle sensation, Ben Norris, at the helm, this promises to be a very special evening of fine music-making by the UK’s leading chamber orchestra.

Alba New Music Festival, presented by Alba New Music and Edinburgh Napier University, returns to St Giles’ Cathedral for the closing concert of 2017 featuring the extraordinary flautist (‘one of new music’s most brilliant flautists’) Richard Craig playing intricate, rapid-fire, ‘exquisitely lovely [and] mesmerising’ music in a programme to include Brian Ferneyhough’s Mnemosyne for bass flute and prerecorded sound.
