St Giles’ Files Ep.14:

Happenings and Events

In this episode, Stephen elaborates on last week’s episode and digs deeper into what St Giles’ has been used for. First, he looks at some events at the turn of the Twentieth Century then, compares these to events he has seen in St Giles’ and finally, discusses if St Giles’ does a good job as it is often seen as the spiritual centre of Scotland.

And this is the link to the interesting article that suggests the very service marking 400 years since John Knox’s birth may well have highlighted the wrong date! https://www.rcpe.ac.uk/sites/default/files/vol28_1.1_9.pdf

We didn’t have a good photo of the memorial Stephen mentioned, so you’ll just have to come and see it!
