Rev Dr George Whyte has been appointed Interim Moderator and Locum. Working with the Kirk Session and the staff team he is responsible to Presbytery for the ongoing life of the congregation during the vacancy. Ordained in 1981, he has previously served as a parish minister, Presbytery Clerk and Principal Clerk of the General Assembly.

Born and raised in Germany, Sigrid studied theology in Bethel, Hamburg, Glasgow and Edinburgh before training for ministry in the Church of Scotland. She was ordained in 1997 and has ministered with congregations in Glasgow, London, Edinburgh, and most recently, in rural Stirlingshire.

Sam was born in the city of Jos, Nigeria. After his MTh in historical studies, Sam taught at the Theological College of Northern Nigeria. In 2015, Sam moved on to pursue further postgraduate studies at the University of Copenhagen, and he is now completing his PhD at the University of Edinburgh. Sam was ordained in the Anglican diocese of Jos in 2009. Outside of his studies and sacerdotal commitment, Sam engages in an array of enjoyable activities.
