Clifford Borg, a renowned Maltese pianist and composer, is recognized for his unique musical style that fuses classical techniques with jazz and pop influences. Starting his musical journey at the age of five, he was immersed in music early on, performing with his family’s band. His first solo performance on national television at age 10 showcased his piano skills with pieces like "Fur Elise" and "Moonlight Sonata." Over the years, Clifford's career has expanded internationally, with performances in major cities like London, Brussels, Paris, Berlin, and Dublin, as well as in Egypt and Tunisa. He has released several acclaimed albums, including Drifted, Origin, Cross-Origin and Eco-Harmony, which blend piano with diverse genres, reflecting his versatile approach to music. His work has earned recognition, including winning the Best Music and Digital Film Award at the Swan Lake Moving Image and Movie Awards for his composition Emergence. Clifford’s commitment to environmental issues is evident in projects like Eco Ballad and Fire-rain which have ended up on the international Buddha Bar compilations. Throughout his career, Clifford has also collaborated with other artists and has performed in notable venues like Saint James Church in London and at the Berlin Philharmonic. His music continues to resonate with global audiences and remains influential, appearing on international playlists.
