Evening Concert Series: Foundering

Foundering is a concert of contemporary folk music for solo fiddle, Scottish harp, and string orchestra with live poetry and Gaelic song. Created by a collective of folk and classical artists, "Foundering" features harpist Eleanor Dunsdon and fiddler/composer Claudia Edwards, performing alongside string orchestra and other artists.

Premiered in Glasgow Cathedral in May 2025, the concert includes Edwards' piece for fiddle and orchestra, "Foundering", which features Glasgow-based poet Aidan McEoin and award-winning Gaelic singer Ruairidh Gray; and Chris Stout and Catriona McKay’s three-movement work Moder Dy; along with the premier of exciting new works.
