St. Giles’ Cathedral is the setting for a very special candlelit performance from acclaimed folk trio Lau.

Lau by Candlelight sees traditional music’s most celebrated innovators Kris Drever (guitar, vocals), Martin Green (accordion) and Aidan O’Rourke (fiddle), strip away their banks of electronics, loops and wild effects, for a performance less about spectacle and more about close listening and reflection.

In brash and polarised political times, here is the poetry of real instruments and considerate music making.

Experience the stunning architecture and atmosphere of St. Giles’ Cathedral, illuminated by hundreds of candles flickering softly, whilst enjoys the sublime sound of Lau unplugged.
